I'm originally from New York (NOT New York City, but the beautiful mountain, forest, and lake filled Westchester county north of the city), but have lived in Texas for almost four years now. I currently live just north of Dallas in the town of Richardson.
Some of My Interests
Among other things, I love to cook(Chinese fried rice being one of my specialties), camp, ride horseback, go white-water rafting/canoeing, watch movies, listen to great music, Renaissance fairs (the pictures below are me in my costume), relax with good friends for whom there is little I would not do, deep philosophical conversations about anything and everything, exchanging massages, playing with my dog, and making my publishing business successful. More than anything else, I love making the woman I love happy, spending time with her, playing and exploring life and the world with her.
My Favorite Music
My sisters were six and seven years older than me, so I was mostly introduced to Classic Rock. Some of my favorites include Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Yes, and Kansas. More recent musicians I like sound like they were heavily influenced by Classic Rock, such as Blues Traveler, Collective Soul, Pearl Jam, and Alanis Morissette. I also get into some Classical with favorites including Beethoven, Bach, and Gershwin. I played cello for a few years, and am self-taught on keyboards and guitar. I also love to sing and have written a few songs. I look forward to the time when I will be able to sing lullaby's to my children, and a serenade to my Lady. Women who can sing turn me on and definitely score bonus points with me!

You will find that I'm very politically active, socially conscious, optimistic, and a philanthropist. A great deal of my long term plans involve making a positive difference in this world where possible, mostly by using the media to reach people and influence public opinion. I am also creating a magazine which features and debuts artists with a lot of talent and potential, but who haven't yet achieved the exposure to get their big break. And, yes, I do also have an excellent full time job as a programmer/technical writer to make sure finances are well secured while I'm getting these things off the ground. I love working on making it come true though, and sometimes, to me, that's play. It's making my dreams come true. I would love to hear what your dreams are.
