David McMuldrough appears in the 1800 Federal Census in Sumter Co, South Carolina. He and his wife are over 45 years old, and they seem to have 5 sons and 5 daughters. By 1810, David and family are listed in Darlington, South Carolina.
Family tradition states that David m. Mary Flowers. He died intestate in 1827. His children (by tradition and court documents) seem to be Isaac Muldrough, Seth W. Muldrow, Andrew Muldrow, Margaret Muldrow, Elizabeth Muldrow, Agnes Muldrow, Mary Muldrow, Sarah Muldrow, Anne Muldrow and a (male) ? Muldrow. This would be 6 girls and 4 boys, but roughly fits with the census.
