Lookups

Hi. I am happy to attempt to lookup items about YOUR family in my local library which has a good Genealogical section. Mostly they have census information from 1820-1860. It varies by state. I cannot guarantee anything, however. Any information posted on this site is to the best of my ability to replicate it. I will note any sources.

I do ask the following, however:

• Please do some REALLY thorough 'net searches to determine that the info you are seeking really isn't already posted somewhere. Much of it IS!
• I need your permission to put your email address on any of your inquiries I post on my site.
• I will try to post the inquiries so they can be 'lumped together' and therefore easier for me to search (that is, if 2 people want lookups from the same county and year of the census it saves me time to look them up at the same time).
• No time guarantee can be made.
• Please give me as much known info about the persons you want info on as you can.
• Please be specific and concise. Say "I am looking for more on John Doe noted in the 1880 Census of NY on page 89 as 36 years old with wife, Catherine" NOT, "I can't find any more on my ancestor John of NY"/
• Priorities will be on family last names that match MY FAMILY last names.
• I respect the right of any living persons NOT to pass on information to YOU...and vise versa.
• I may cease lookups at any time for no good reasons whatsoever.
• I will be more inclined to do inquiries if you give me feedback. Please let me know if items on my page are of use to you.
