I recently received a response that there were no family named WYSY in Switzerland: but were spelled WYSS, WISER and one I do not remember at this time.
It appears that I am a descendant of these persons, through ANDREAS FREY, born ca 1698, WINGEN, FRANCE. Coming to America in 1733 aboard the SHIP SAMUEL.
Hope this might be helpful.
I am looking for the history of Knonau, Zurich, Switzerland prior to 1521 the family's reasons for moving through Germany to the Palatinate Area.
FRANK
