 p.185  "Fish, Norman D., Tonawanda, was born in Saratoga County, NY, August
    12, 1879.  His father, John R., was a farmer of that county.  Norman D.
    was educated at Ballston, and was graduated from Union College in 1890
    with the degree of A.B.  He then took up the study of law with senator
    Foley of Saratoga..."
 p.212  "Fish, Burton M., Hamburg, was born in that town, Feb 12, 1854.
    He received a normal education and began his mercantile life as a clerk
    in his father's store, which in time was run by M. Fish & Sons. Milford,
    their father, retired in 1885 and the business was carried on by B.M. and
    C.T. Fish; in 1888 C.T. Fish withdrew from the firm and Burton M.
    has carried on the business since then with success.  Aug 31, 1875,
    he married Carrie E., daughter of George A Moore of Buffalo, NY
    and they had three children: Catherine M, Laura C and Florence E.
    Mr. Fish's grandfather, Thomas, was born in Vermont in 1798 and
    came to Buffalo when a young man, when it was a hamlet, and
    taught school on the site of the Genesee Hotel.  He married
    Louisa Lathrop and they had four children, Milford, Byron J.,
    Josephine and Janett. Milford Fish married Hannah Colvin in 1853, and
    they had ten children.  He moved to Pasadena, Cal. in 1886, and
    died October 7, 1895."

    "Fish, Newton C., Hamburg, was born in Hamburg, NY March 8, 1859, where he was educated in the public schools and began his mercantile career as cleek in his father's store. In the fall of 1884 he began business on his own account in company with William Kromberg, in hardware, furnaces, stores, plumbing, etc., together with wall paper and crockery. June 8, 1881 he married Ina A. Woodbury, and they have three children: Mildred L, Ethel L, and Winifred W. Mr. Fish is one of the village trustees, chairman of the Board of Education and President of the Hamburg Saving and Loan Association. Mr. Fish's parents were natives of Hamburg and they had ten children. His father died in California, Oct 7, 1895 and his widow survives this date.

    p.669 FISH, NICHOLAS, MAJ. - He served in 2d Line (G.44).  In 1775, he was 2d Lt.
          in the NYC Fusileers, which, later, became Col. John Lasher's Regt.
          In 1776, he was Brig. Maj. and also Aide to Gen. John Morin Scott.
          He had a long service including the Battle of L.I. (page 38. Also H. 36)
          Harlem, White Plains, Saratoga, Sullivan's Expedition and Yorktown.
          ("NY State Soc'y of the Cincinnati"  Also "Sullivan's Expedition" p.383
          Also "N.Y. State Sons of Rev'n, YEar-Book- 1909" p.429).  On Apr. 14, 1783
          he wrote to Gov. Clinton asking for the position of Naval Officer
