NH Queries

I'm trying to find proof that James FISH, (Lester p. 109, #796), b. 2 Jun 1776, son of Daniel6 FISH and Barbara BOWEN, is the same James FISH that lived and died in Langdon, NH, and married Hannah CASE.

The following is from the Langdon town
history (History and General Register of the Town of Langdon, NH 1787
to 1930 by F.B. Kingsbury;  page 402):

James Fish born Rehoboth, MA, 1767?; d. L. 30 Nov 1832; int. L.V.C.
(possible a son of Benjamin or Daniel Fish of that town, 1790, U. S.
census). He was a farmer and settled in L. as early as 1794. In 1795
he purchased 50 acres and settled on the Ball farm #124 and where he
lived many years; serving as highway surveyor, school committeeman in
North district, and a juryman in 1801. From Langdon town and cemetery
records; Cheshire R. of D.; Keene records, etc.

Page 403: He m. in L. 4 June 1795, Hannah Case, of L. b. Springfield,
VT and who d. at the home of her son, James, Jr., about 1849;
probably was int. in L. V. C. by the side of her husband, but she has
no headstone. The following probably were their ch. b.:

1.-Lucretia b. L. 1796?; d. L. 13 Oct 1864; 69y; m.--Jewett.
2.-Eli b. before 1800; res in town till 1819 or later, paid poll tax;
   m. in Al.17 Mar 1825, Mary Cross, of L.
3.-Thomas b. about 1800; res in L. 1821-25; m. Lovina Ballou, b.
   Providence, RI. They had one or more ch. b.
4.-Alpheus b. 1803?; res in L. until 1832; taxed for a cow, etc.
    Possibly he was the "Alpha Fish" of W., m. in L. 17 Sept 1826, Rhoda
    Emery, of Al.
5.-Charles Martin b. 13 Nov 1806; d. 6 Nov 1868; int. L. V. C.
6.-James b. L. about 1810; d. L. 1872; age 61y.

James' gravestone in Langdon states his age at death as 65 years and 6 months.
