James Darrelson Fish, their son, was born 9th April 1759
Nathan Fish, their son, was born 11th April 1762
Lydia Fish, their daughter, was born 29th March 1764
Charles Fish, their son, was born 31st March 1766

³John 4, second son of John 3 and Mary (Bingham) Backus (p.15) was born at
Windham Aug.17,1698, and is usually recorded as residing there throughout his
life. However, one correspondent lists him as moving to Woodbury, Conn, in
1739-40 (13). He died June 17, 1769. Larned mentions his baptism under date of
Oct. 22, 1699. On May 22, 1725, he married Sibyl Whiting, who was born May 8,
1709, daughter of Rev. Samuel and Eliz. (Adams) Whiting of Windham and
great-granddaughter of Gov. William Bradford of the Mayflower. She died in
