Over 100 years ago, various Norwegian family histories/pedigrees were compiled by the French-Norwegian genealogist Charles Antoine Delgobe (1844-1916). His handwriting can be very hard to decifer. The pedigree, together with other information on the Weckhorst family is held by the Public Record Office of Norway in Oslo. Many of the Weckhorst descendants now have copies of this pedigree (xeroxed copies).
HLW has double-checked all of his (HLW's) sources (where from most of the 'older' Weckhorst information in these pages comes). In some cases Delgobe's information is inaccurate. Therefore, while the entire xerox is tackled herein, only the verified information has migrated over to the family pages.

| Under Gustav Adolph Frederik is the note "Styrmand"? | Right. He was a "styrmand" (i.e. mate). He sailed as a mate for several years before he in 1885 settled in Bamble. They moved to Notodden in 1906. |
