Veterna World War I. He m. Helen Griswold, and had Edward13, Lieut. in World War II. BYRON D.12 FISH (John11, Dana10, William9, Isaac8), foreman Staso Paint Mill, Castleton, son of John W. and Lora (Gibbs) Fish, was b. May 5, 1903, at Hubbardton, Vt.; m. Vida Wetmore, and had: (370) Wilma13, (371) Doris, (372) Betty and (373) Byron. JOHN RUSSELL12 FISH (John11, Dana10, William9, Isaac8), son of John W. and Lora (Gibbs) Fish, was b. Mar. 4, 1913; m. Eleanor Hall. Veteran of twenty-seven months service in Africa and Europe, World War II. 365d ALEXANDER9 FISH, son of Isaac and Lois (Benson) Fish, was b. in 1811, and lived in Warren Co., N.Y. Children: (374) Ellen Lois10, b. Oct. 18, 1861, d. Feb. 11, 1897, m. in 1879 Henry Fish, who was son of John Miner Fish of Fort Ann, N.Y., and lived at Rutland, Vt. (See Unplaced Families); (375) Adelno, b. Dec. 24, 1863, d. June 10, 1937 (a carpenter, of Chester, Vt.; wrote up data on his branch of the family); (376) Orvis, b. 1866; and (377) Charles E., b. Oct. 17, 1869. 355 SILAS7 FISH (Benjamin6, Preserved5, Thomas4, Thomas3, Alice2, John1), Quaker, farmer, son of (113) Bejamin and Priscilla (Arthur) Fish, was b. at Portsmith, R.I., Sept 24, 1751 (Three years before the French and Indian War (1754-63) began) and d. probably in Ohio. He m. Susanna Sisson, dau. of Joseph and Ruth (Sherman) Sisson, b. at Newport, R.I., Sept. 19, 1754, and eight children were born to them. She d. Sept. 19, 1790, and was buried on the Silas7 Fish Farm in Foster, R.I. He m.(2) Amy Spencer, dau. of William A. and Margaret (Johnson) Spencer of East Greenwich, R.I. Mar. 3, 1795, and she bore him six children. He removed from Foster, with his brother Elisha, to Rensselaerville, Albany Co., N.Y., and thence to Ohio, where he married a third time, and two children were born to him there. d. Aug. 30, 1859. In 1810 he left Utica, N.Y., to settle at Fish
Corners, two miles south of Conneautville, Pa. He m. May 15, 1803,
Deborah Dean, who was b. Jan. 14, 1786; d. Nov. 22, 1863 or 1868.
