The only definitive information we have on Isaac Fish, ancestor of
the Fish family of Castleton, Vt., is that he m. Lois Benson who
       d. 1838 and he d. 1853. His first born son, according to his grandson,
was born about 1798; and assuming that Isaac married at
twenty this would being his birth to about the year 1778. He had
grandsons Sanford and Gardner Fish. Inasmuch as (365) Isaac8
Fish was born in 1778, that he had an uncle Gardner Fish and a
cousin Isaac Sanford fish we may assume that these two Isaacs
are one and the same. With this assumption we proceed as follows:
NOTE: Incorrect assumption as Nantucket VRs have (365) Isaac d. infancy

365 ISAAC8 FISH son of (352) Stephen7 (Benjamin6, Preserved5,
Thomas4, Thomas3, Alice2, John1) and Ruth (Coggeshall) Fish,

1901); (365e) Sarah (Sally), who m. ________ Rudolph; and (365f)
Lottie. who m. Benjamin Brownell, and went West. One son
became a railroad surveyor. Alexander and one brother lived in
Warren Co., NY.

365a ISAAC9 FISH, son of (365) Isaac and Lois (Benson) Fish,
was b. about 1798. Children: Lucy10 (b.1821), Hannah, Merrill,
