Asa and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Sprague. She was b. at Danby, VT,
Nov 26, 1802; d. Apr 13, 1884, age 81 (possibly at Cinncinnati,
Ohio).  He d. at East Hamburg, Mar 27, 1845.

son of (271) Daniel and Anna (Sprague) Fish, was b. at East
Hamburg, N.Y., Aug 30, 1820. He m. in Mar. 1845, at East
Hamburg, Mercy Ann wait, sau. of Leonard Vincent and Susan
(Webster) Wait, who was b. Jan 20, 1824, and d. Feb 25, 1884.
He drove stage for many years between East Hamburg (now
Orchard Park) and Buffalo, N.Y.   The trip required driving all
day.  He was also the owner of a livery stable. In 1885 he was
elected and served one year as supervisor of his town.  He was
also a member of the Masonic order.  The house in which he was
born is still standing (1942) and is known as the "Quaker
Bonnet Tea Room."  He d. Jan 2, 1890 at Orchard Park.

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan 29, 1918.  On Feb 8, 1881, at Buffalo, he m.
Maud Evelyn Swift, dau. of James Cushing and Mary Helen
(Hawkins) Swift.  She was b. at East Hamburg, Mar 25, 1864;
d. at Buffalo, July 28, 1902, at 38.  He kept a store for many years;
for a few years was manager of a desk company, and afterwards
manager of the delicatessen dept. of Faxon, Williams & Faxon,
Buffalo's largest grocery store.

the time of his second marriage.  In 1916 he m. Christina
Heuson, by whom he had one dau. (295) Betty13 Fish, b.1917.
Under the name Wheeler he m. Inez DeLair at Detroit, Mich.,
Apr 21, 1920. She was b. at Buffalo, Nov 28, 1898, dau. of
James and Fredericka (Egerdee) DeLair.
  Children: (296) William Arthur Ral[h13 Wheeler, b. Feb 28,
1921, at Detroit (served in the U.S. Navy); and (297) Raymond
Merrill John Wheeler, b.Apr 27, 1924, at Inglewood, Calif.,
served in the U.S. Marine Corps and saw considerable action
in the South Pacific.

Angeles, Calif., she m. Milford Edwin Tracy, son of Carman
Francis and Pernina Estella (Trowbridge) Tracy, who was b.
at Fostoria, Ohio, Jan. 16, 1896.  They reside at Huntington
Park, Calif., and he is asst. to the vice president of the Richfield
Oil Corp. in Los Angeles.  Was a member of the Compton, Calif.,
Board of Education for seven years.  He is a member of the F.
& A.M.,S.R., & S.M.D.  Mrs. Tracy is also a member of S.M.D.

Univ. of Calif., Los Angeles, but left in his senior year
to serve in the U.S. army.  He entered the army in Aug. 1942,
and was placed on inactive status in the Reserve in April 1946.
He arose from private to the rank of Captain.  Received the
bronze star for bravery in action at the Ardennes Bulge, 1945.

299 FRANCES ELLEN13 TRACY (Irma12, Merrill11, John10, Daniel9,

(Fish) Tracy, was b. Sep. 11, 1919.  Grad. from Compton
Junior College, and from Woodbury College, Los Angeles, Calif.
She m. Oct 11, 1941, at Yuma, Ariz., George Richard Aid,
and had: (299 1/2) Nancy Ellen Aid, b. July 15, 1944.  George
Aid saw considerable action in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
