Basic TCP connection test application
This application pair will use and test the following MS Windows files:ASYCFILT.DLL COMCAT.DLL msvbvm60.dll MSWINSCK.OCX OLEAUT32.DLL OLEPRO32.DLL VB6STKIT.DLL STDOLE2.TLBI think all these files are resident on a standard windows PC except maybe MSWINSCK.OCX and msvbvm60.dll.

tcpServer - stands by and awaits a connection from the client below.
When text is typed into the top text box on the left it will be sent to the tcpClient that has 'called' the tcpServer App.
Download full install: tcpServer14.zip (1.5 MB)
The full-install above contains all the files listed above. After unzipping, running the setup.exe file will unpack the .CAB (cabinet) file, put the system files in the correct directories, register the ActiveX control(s), and create a program group called tcpTest.
Download just the executable: tcpServer14.exe (36 KB)
The executable file, after downloading, may be executed by simply double-clicking on the file name. If any required DLLs or ActiveX controls are missing you will receive an error message. If so, download the full install instead - all the required files should be in there.
