Simple Internet Morse Encoder Version 3.3

Simple Internet Morse Code using TCP Internet connection

This application will use and test the following MS Windows files:
   ASYCFILT.DLL
     COMCAT.DLL
      dx7vb.dll
   msvbvm60.dll
   Mscomctl.ocx
   Mswinsck.ocx
   OLEAUT32.DLL
   OLEPRO32.DLL
    STDOLE2.TLB
   VB6STKIT.DLL
I think all these files are resident on a standard windows PC except maybe MSWINSCK.OCX, msvbvm60.dll and dx7vb.dll.

Stand-alone Text to Morse Code Mode

Text entered in the box with "Hello" in it will be simply output on the speakers as Morse Code when the Morse button is clicked.

Acting as Server - Morse Code Mode

Server mode - stands by and awaits a connection from an application running in the Client mode (described below).

When text is typed into the top text box ("Text to be sent to Client") and Send is clicked the text will be sent to the Client that has 'called' the Server and output as Morse Code.

Acting as Client - Morse Code Mode

Client - contacts server (above) to establish a session.

When text is typed into the top text box ("Text to be sent to Server PC") and Send is clicked the text will be sent to the Server that was 'called' or connected to and output as Morse Code.

Download full install: SimpleInetMorseEncoderV330.zip (2.18 MB)

The full-install above contains all the files listed above. After unzipping, running the setup.exe file will unpack the .CAB (cabinet) file, put the system files in the correct directories, register the ActiveX control(s), and create a program group called tcpTest.

Download just the executable: MorseInetEncoder330.exe (72 KB)

The executable file, after downloading, may be executed by simply double-clicking on the file name. If any required DLLs or ActiveX controls are missing you will receive an error message. If so, download the full install instead - all the required files should be in there.
