Wilfred Fong's hatchery This page is best viewed with a big screen, but look at it anyways, because Wilfred's stuff is really neat.

Leaving Bing's place, we went back across the bridge to San Francisco and visited Wilfred Fong's house.  Wilfred manages the reef displays at the Steinhart Aquarium and also breeds and sells Blue Diamond discus.  His discus were absolutely beautiful, and I also heartily recommend Wilfred as a discus breeder.
	The thing that really got our attention in Wilfred's hatchery though was the reef tanks.  He has four acrylic tanks in his garage that are beautifully arranged with all sorts of coral.  His tanks each had a single yellow tang in them, and in some cases, certain other crustacea or fish.
Next: The Quiet Storm <--Return to the San Francisco trip Memoirs	Wilfred's display reef tank in his living room is home to a pair of breeding Fontinalis Cardinals, and Wilfred was raising a bowl of about 20 Cardinal fry in his garage.  The adult male Cardinal was also carrying newly hatched fry when we saw them.
