About Salvation: Romans 10:9,10 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:13 For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. Ephesians 2:8 For grace you have been saved through faith; and not that of yourselves, it is the gift of God. John 5:24 Truly, truly I say to you, he who hears My voice, and believes in Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgement, but has passed out of death into life. John 3:13 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given men, by which we must be saved. Who Needs Salvation? 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. Saved From What? Luke 13:3 Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 Dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and away from the glory of His power. 2 Peter 2:4 For God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment. Romans 8:9-10 But to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation, there will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; and they will have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. Who is Christ? 1 Peter 2:24 And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live in righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which is lost. John 10:11 The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. 1 John 5:14,15 And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He will hear us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked Him. 1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. About Sin: 1 John 1:8-9 If we say that we have not sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness Luke 5:24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. Galatians 3:22 But the scripture has shut up all men under sin. Luke 5:32 I have come not to call the righteous, but sinners. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. I want to get saved now! A Salvation Prayer: A salvation prayer is a prayer to JESUS CHRIST to save your soul from eternal separation from Him. It is a decision you make asking JESUS to convert you from a sinner to a new creation. You cannot be converted unless He first chooses you. If you feel the tug in your heart wanting to get saved, He is calling you. In fact, if you are reading this now, it is not by accident. The HOLY SPIRIT is calling to you and now is your chance to respond. Below is an sample of a sinners prayer. You may want to review it and maybe make it more personal to your situation. Feel free to use this one if you like. A Sample Sinners Prayer: Dear JESUS, I know I am a sinner and without you I am lost and going to a devil's hell. I ask you right now, Lord Jesus, to come into my heart, forgive me of all my sins, and be my Lord and my Savior. Thank you Lord Jesus for dying for me and for shedding your precious blood for me. Thank you for saving my soul. In Jesus name, Amen |
